The modifications listed herein shall be <br />made on the dates shown for the period January 1, 20102-9~} through December 31, 2010299}. <br />Section 2L0 Reopener <br />The parties agree to reopen Section 2 Health & Welfare for negotiations during the term of this <br />agreement at the request of either party. <br />Section 22.0 Equivalent Settlements <br />Should any other employee group receive additional paid time off during the term of this <br />agreement, the City and the SLMO agree to reopen negotiations on the issue of time off only. <br />Section 23.0 Miscellaneous <br />23.1 Licenses/Certificates <br />City to provide reimbursements for management employees required to possess professional <br />certificates or licenses. Optional professional certificates/licenses will be reimbursed if job <br />announcements identify them as desirable for a specific position(s). In addition, other <br />professional certificates/licenses may be reimbursed with the prior approval of the <br />department head and the concurrence of the City Manager. <br />23.2 Safety Shoes <br />Managers assigned to classifications designated by the City who are required to wear safety <br />shoes shall be reimbursed on a biennial basis. In fiscal year 2009, the maximum amount <br />will be two hundred and twenty-five dollars ($225.00). <br />23.3 Holidays <br />During the 2 0 1 0200-9 calendar year, employees, ~T~~*'~ +~,0 0 0~+;~„ n~ n„i;,,o r~„+~;,,~_~„a <br />T ~~,~ will be granted two (2) additional floating holidays to be taken within the <br />20102909 calendar year. These two (2) additional holidays may not be carried over to <br />another year or be converted to pay. These days will be pro-rated to the nearest half-day for <br />individuals working less than the full year. <br />23.4 Application of Pay and Benefits <br />Ong employees of the City, at the time this agreement is ratified by the City Council, are <br />eligible to receive any of the salary or benefits so provided. <br />Section 24. Employee Furlough Program <br />All employees, except for specially designated employees as determined by the City <br />Manager will be furloughed from work on an unpaid basis a designated day each month <br />from January 1, 2010 through December 31, 2010. Vacation, sick leave, floatin hg oliday or <br />compensatorYtime rnay,not be used by the employees as part of the Program. <br />City Hall Closure: City Hall will be closed on designated days every month from January <br />1 through December 31, 2010. During this period most City facilities will be closed and all <br />but essential services will cease.
