DRAFT MINUTES <br /> Page 7 <br />March 15, 2010 <br />City of San Leandro City Council and San Leandro Redevelopment Agency Joint Meeting <br /> <br /> <br />th <br /> <br />He announced the March 20th Boosters Club crab feed and the April 15 San Leandro <br />Scholarship Foundation fundraiser. <br /> <br />As a member of the Association of California School Administrators, he lobbied in <br />Sacramento against budget cuts to education. He commented that January and February <br />were good months for tax revenues, and perhaps the economy has bottomed out. <br /> <br />Mayor Santos reported the following: <br /> <br />He attended the Lions Club crab feed; the Luso-American Educational Foundation <br />program at UC Berkeley; and a German Club meeting. <br /> <br />He was appointed to the ACTIA (Alameda County Transportation Improvement <br />Authority) Work Program committee, and the committee recently discussed the Oakland <br />Airport connector. <br /> <br />On Friday, March 12, he saw seven people waiting outside City Hall, which was closed <br />for the furlough. He asked City Manager Hollister to look into the possibility of closing <br />two half days for furlough rather than a full day. <br /> <br />djourned in memory of longtime City volunteer Alistair <br />Sharman. <br /> <br /> <br />12.
