KaBOOM! Letter of Intent 3 April 19, 2010 <br />positive impact that KaBOOM!, with the help of our sponsors and partners, has been able to make <br />in the lives of millions of children nationwide. <br />For more detailed information about KaBOOM!, please visit its website at www.kaboom.or~. <br />Board/Commission Findings <br />The Recreation and Parks Commission was informed of the KaBOOM! application at the April <br />7, 2010 Commission meeting. <br />Summary of Public Outreach Efforts <br />A tremendous amount of Public Outreach will be done if the City's Project is selected. <br />Fiscal Impact <br />Should the Rotary Club not be able to raise the $7,500 required by KaBOOM!, the Measure WW <br />funds authorized to renovate Toyon Park would be used. Those funds will also be used to meet <br />the site preparation responsibilities of the Community Partner (the City). <br />Budget Authority <br />Not applicable. <br />Attachments <br />Attachment A: Letter of Intent <br />Attachment B: KaBOOM! Project Summary <br />Attachment C: KaBOOM!
