• • <br />City Tasks: <br />• Select members of Task Force. <br />Provide background information. <br />Establish broad budget and revenue objectives. <br />Phase 2- Needs Assessment <br />Product: Draft Assessment, including summary of public responses. <br />Final Assessment, including summary of public responses. <br />• All reports will be 8-1/2 x 11 in black and white, suitable for photocopy <br />reproduction. Preferred redesign option to be 30"x42" format as appropriate, <br />including a site map showing impacts to park facilities. <br />• Final submittals to include five (5) bound copies, one (1) unbound copy, and <br />one (1) copy of associated electronic files in MS Word 97 compatible <br />format. <br />Consultant Tasks: <br />Implement the Public Participation Plan described above. Conduct Public meetings and provide <br />summary of public responses. Additional detail on the information expected in this assessment is <br />attached as Appendix A-1. Include a summary and discussion of public comment collected from <br />and meetings, questionnaires, and phone survey. <br />Phone Survey: Phone survey of San Leandro residents regarding city aquatic facilities. <br />Meetings (#4, #5, #6, and #7): Open public `focus group' meetings to solicit public opinion and <br />gauge public support and expectations for Swim Center services. Meet with City <br />Project Management Team prior to start of public meetings. <br />City Tasks: <br />• Attend and advertise meetings. <br />• Provide assistance with public mailings as necessary. <br />• Provide facilities to host meetings. <br />• Respond to public questions as necessary. <br />• Review of and comment on draft Needs Assessment. <br />Phase 3-Master Plan <br />Product: Draft Plan <br />Final Plan <br />• All reports will be 8-1/2 x 11 in black and white, suitable for photocopy <br />reproduction. Improvement scenarios (that attempt to fulfill the aquatic services identified in <br />the Needs Assessment discussed above) will be developed and evaluated.
