Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - January 16, 1996 Page - 7 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> Council Member Galvan asked if there has been an accounting of <br /> Measure B funds and why so many Measure B projects have not moved <br /> forward. Vice Mayor Kerr explained that's the Alameda County <br /> Transportation Authority, and San Leandro does not have a Council <br /> representative. Council Member Galvan said he is concerned about <br /> extending the Measure B sales tax if projects that were promised <br /> have not been built. <br /> Council Member Perry noted the funding was less than anticipated <br /> because of low sales tax. She said reauthorization will depend <br /> on the outcome of the Santa Clara case. <br /> E. Approval of Work Session Items Requiring Action. <br /> None <br /> F. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken. <br /> - Conference with Legal Counsel - Existing Litigation, <br /> Government Code Section 54956.9. <br /> Name of Case: Patricia Walker vs. City of San Leandro. <br /> The City Attorney reported that a Workers' Compensation <br /> Settlement Compromise and Release of claim was made. <br /> - Conference with Legal Counsel - Anticipated Litigation, <br /> Pursuant to Government Code Section 54956.9 <br /> Significant Exposure to Litigation, 54956.9 (b). <br /> No. of Potential Cases: 1 <br /> The City Attorney reported that no final action was taken. <br /> 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. Matter of Roberts Landing Residential Development; Certification <br /> of the Final Supplemental Environmental Impact Report (FSEIR); <br /> Approving a General Development Plan (GDP) Amendment for PD -91 -3; <br /> Approving a Precise Development Plan (PDP) Application for Phases <br /> 2A, 2B, and 3; and Approving Vesting Tentative Maps for Phases <br /> 2A, 2B, and 3. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, Steve Emslie, Planning Manager, presented the staff <br /> report and recapped events leading to the Public Hearing. He <br /> noted a letter received from Philip Jelley, received after the <br /> Response to Comments was prepared. <br />
