Resolution Supporting a Multi- Agency Grant Application to Alameda <br /> County Congestion Management Agency for a Bus Shelter /Advertising <br /> Project (supports application to Bay Area Air Quality Management <br /> District for funds to study the possibility of creating a bus <br /> shelter /advertising project on behalf of San Leandro and various other <br /> cities and agencies in Alameda County). <br /> Kathy Ornelas, Community Relations Representative, said the purpose of <br /> the Resolution is to support A.C. Transit's grant application for a bus <br /> shelter and advertising project. She discussed the history of <br /> Busline /Media, the City's bus shelter contractor, and said San Leandro <br /> chose not to adopt shelters in San Leandro due to extensive maintenance <br /> • <br /> demands. She said the grant, if approved, will allow A.C. Transit to <br /> hire a project manager to coordinate the study of developing a bus <br /> shelter /advertising program in Alameda County. There will be no cost <br /> to the City. <br />
