Minutes - City of San Leandro City Council and Page - 11 - <br /> Redevelopment Agency Meeting - October 7, 1996 <br /> The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> Minute Order No. 96 -38, Matter of SD- 75 -44; St. Moritz Apartments; <br /> 14744 Washington Avenue; to Consider Revocation or Modification to <br /> the Site Development Sub - Commission Approval Granted in 1975, to <br /> Permit Vehicle and Pedestrian Access to Harold Avenue from the St. <br /> Moritz Apartments; Assessor's Parcel Number 077C- 1305 - 001 -002; City <br /> of San Leandro, Applicant; RM 1800 Residential Multiple Family <br /> District. (1136) <br /> The City Council moved that the following be adopted: <br /> 1. A trial period of six months, with staff providing continuous <br /> monitoring of the site. <br /> 2. The vehicle exit onto Harold Avenue shall remain open, except <br /> during the hours of 10:00 p.m. thru 5:00 a.m. <br /> 3. The •pedestrian gate shall be closed for ingress and egress <br /> purposes. <br /> 4. The spikes are to be removed. <br /> 5. The City Council directed staff to prepare the required Findings, <br /> in accordance with the provisions of the Zoning Code. <br /> 6. After the six -month trial period, a feasibility study will be <br /> conducted regarding speed humps. <br /> M /S /C Polvorosa and Loeffler. Ayes: 6; Noes: Glaze <br /> A five- minute break was announced at 9:03 p.m. <br /> The City Council reconvened its meeting at 9:15 p.m. <br /> 2. PRESENTATIONS (CONTINUED) <br /> 2.3 Presentation of Commendations to Leah Patty and Mark Yu, Students at <br /> San Leandro High School, for Their Art Work Selected as Designs for <br /> the Alameda County Children's Memorial Flag Project -- Leah Patty, <br /> 1st Place; Mark Yu, 2nd Place. <br /> Mayor Corbett asked Leah Patty to come forward to receive her <br /> Commendation for her artwork selected for First Place in the Alameda <br /> County Children's Memorial Flag Project. Mayor Corbett congratulated <br /> her for her artistic excellence. <br /> Leah Patty responded that it was a great honor to help parents cope <br /> with the pain of losing their child. She thanked the City Council <br /> for their Commendation. <br />
