Mayor Corbett asked Interim City Manager Wandzia Grycz to comment on New Business Item 6.5. Wandzia noted that staff had received a letter from the Applicant, Mr. Paul Martin, requesting the item be continued to a later date. Staff recommended the item be continued for 30 days to the November 4, 1996, City Council meeting. The circumstances are explained in the letter. PUBLIC HEARINGS 3.1 Matter of 5D- 75 -44; St. Moritz Apartments; 14744 Washington Avenue; to Consider Revocation or Modification to the Site Development Sub - • Commission Approval Granted in 1975, to Permit Vehicle and Pedestrian Access to Harold Avenue from the St. Moritz Apartments; Assessor's Parcel Number 077C- 1305- 001 -002; City of San Leandro, Applicant; RM 1800 Residential Multiple Family District. - Motion Approving or Denying SD- 75 -44. This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above matter, Planning Manager Steve Emslie presented a staff report that included a description of the site, chronological history to date of past recommendations and actions, and a history of the pedestrian gate and traffic exits. He cited the petition received in February from residents of Harold Avenue asking for closure of the exit onto Harold Avenue.
