• • <br /> EXHIBIT "13" <br /> Commercial /Industrial Recycling Program <br /> GENERAL <br /> The Oro Lorna Sanitary District's Commercial Recycling Program will, at minimum, include the services and <br /> efforts outlined below. It is further understood and agreed to that the District's contractor, under the direction of <br /> District staff, will arrange for the safe and proper collection, processing and sale of green waste and recyclable <br /> materials collected. The City, may however, continue its Business Assistance Program in the L -3 Area of the <br /> District so long as it is not in violation of, including but not limited to, attached Sections 3.201, 3.2.03, 3.2.06, or <br /> 4.5.01 of the District's March 27, 1997 solid waste collection agreement with its contractor. <br /> COMMERCIAIJINDUSTRIAL SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED <br /> The Oro Loma Sanitary District will: <br /> O Design and produce at least two inserts each year to be included in two of its contractor's billing <br /> notices to its commercial /industrial customers. Information will include, but is not limited to - <br /> O Alerting commercial/industrial refuse customers on the availability of Waste Audits by <br /> Waste Management and its other related recycling services. <br /> O Promoting source reduction and recycling resources available through the City of San <br /> Leandro and the Alameda County Waste Management Authority and Recycling Board <br /> by promoting the City's Business Assistance Program and the Authority's StopWaste <br /> Hotline number. <br /> O Promoting Alameda County's Household Hazardous Drop off Program for Small <br /> Commercial Generators. <br /> O Promoting the County's Green Business Program by including related information about <br /> the Program. <br /> O Promoting California Integrated Waste Management 13oard's Used motor Oil Grant <br /> Program by including tips to properly dispose of and recycle used motor oil and used <br /> motor oil filters. <br /> O Organize and facilitate at least two Commercial /Industrial Recycling Advisory Committee <br /> meetings on an annual basis, in an effort to provide a forum and opportunity for businesses to <br /> network and share information and challenges related to commercial /industrial source reduction <br /> and recycling efforts. <br /> O Promote information which is beneficial to commercial /industrial recycling in its Oro Loma <br /> News newsletter that is directly mailed to each Oro Lorna resident. <br /> D Develop and post commercial recycling information on the District's web site, whose address is <br /> www.oroloma.org. <br />
