ACTION ITEMS <br /> Public comments are limited to 3 minutes per speaker per item, subject to adjustment by the <br /> Mayor. <br /> A. Report on Closed Session Actions Taken <br /> Mayor Santos read a letter of resignation submitted to the City Council by City Manager <br /> Stephen Hollister earlier today. The resignation was unanimously accepted by the <br /> Council, and Mr. Hollister's resignation is effective June 30, 2011. <br /> 11. CITY COUNCIL REPORTS AND ANNOUNCEMENTS <br /> City Councilmembers report on their activities, including attendance at Intergovernmental <br /> Agency meetings, conferences and seminars, and local events, and make brief announcements <br /> on issues of concern. <br /> Vice Mayor Reed thanked Councilmember Stephens and Mayor Santos for their service on <br /> the City Council, and to the citizens of San Leandro. <br /> Councilmember Starosciak reported on the Alameda County Transportation Commission <br /> (ACTC) annual retreat. The Bill Lockyer Bay Trail Slough Bridge was one of ACTC's great <br /> achievements of the year, and Councilmember Starosciak thanked Mayor Santos for his hard <br /> work to make it happen. She reported that she attended the Senior Community Center <br /> dedication. Councilmember Starosciak congratulated Councilmember Stephens and Mayor <br /> Santos for their many years of service on the Council and their commitment to the <br /> community, and she wished them well in the future. <br /> Councilmember Prola reported that he attended the Chamber mixer at Bardelli's; the <br /> Alameda County Public Works meeting with residents regarding the trees in San Leandro <br /> Creek; the Alameda County Mosquito Abatement District Board meeting; the East Bay <br /> Dischargers Authority meeting; the fundraiser for the Luster Knight Memorial at Fire Station <br /> 10; the Recreation and Human Services Department's annual holiday luncheon; the <br /> dedication of the Senior Community Center, which will have its grand opening on April 2nd, <br /> 2011; and Jingle Tails at the Oakland Zoo. Councilmember Prola thanked Councilmember <br /> Stephens and Mayor Santos for dedicating many years of service to making the City a better <br /> place. <br />
