• Annual Street Sealing 2009 -10 Acceptance of Work 2 February 7, 2011 work for the Annual Overlay /Rehabilitation 2009 -10 project, but the pavement condition was found to be ideal for the double asphalt rubber chip seal application used in this Street Sealing project. The successful application of this treatment has now provided the City with another cost effective tool for maintaining streets. Analysis On July 19, 2010, the City Council awarded the construction contract for the subject project to International Surfacing Systems. Construction is now complete and is in compliance with the contract documents. The project consisted of application of surface treatments on various roadways and installation of curb ramps on Farnsworth Street in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Previous City Council Action(s) • On July 19. 2010, by Resolution No. 2010 -099, the City Council approved the resolution of award of construction contract to International Surfacing Systems for the subject project • On June 21, 2010. by Resolution No. 2010 -080, the City Council approved the plans and specifications and called for bids for the subject project Applicable General Plan Policy This action is consistent with Streets and Highway Goal No. 16 of the General Plan and Action Item 16,03: Maintenance. • Environmental Review This project was deemed categorically exempt from CEQA.
