Where a building hereafter <br /> erected on a corner lot is oriented to face the streetside side <br /> lot line, and the width of the yard provided on that side is at <br /> least equal to the required depth of the front yard in the <br /> district, then the required depth of the yard at the front line of <br /> the lot as defined in paragraph 25 of this Section shall be <br /> governed by the regulations which apply to a side yard on the <br /> streetside of a corner lot in the district. <br /> Section 7 -3 -548: REMOVAL OF EARTH. If authorized by the Board <br /> of Zoning Adjustments as a conditional use as provided in Section <br /> 7 -3 -640, removal of earth and other natural materials may be <br /> permitted in any district. No. 64 -49, 10/5/64) <br /> Section 7 -3 -549: Upon first securing authorization by the <br /> Board of Zoning Adjustments under the procedure specified in <br /> Section 7 -3 -640 for authorizing a conditional use, one trailer <br /> located upon a trailer sales lot or upon a lot devoted to the <br /> commercial parking or storage of house trailers may be used as the <br /> residence of a watchman and members of his immediate family, <br /> provided all requirements of Chapter 10, Title III of this <br /> are met. Except as provided in this Chapter, non - conforming <br /> uses and non - conforming buildings may continue. <br /> Section 7 -3 -551: EXPANSION OF NON - CONFORMING USES. A <br /> non - conforming use shall not be enlarged, increased or expanded to <br /> occupy a greater area of land or property than that occupied at <br /> the time the use became non - conforming, provided, however: <br /> (a) The non - conforming use of a non - conforming building may <br /> be expanded or extended throughout such building as long <br /> as no structural alterations are made therein. <br /> (b) The non- conforming use of a non- conforming building may <br /> be changed to any use which is permitted in a more <br /> restrictive district as long as no structural <br /> alterations are made therein. <br /> 8/8/83 -110- <br /> • <br />
