No. 73 -1, Jan. 8, 1973) <br /> Section 7 -3 -637 - 639: (Not Used) <br /> Section 7 -3 -640: CONDITIONAL USES. The term "conditional use" <br /> shall mean a use of prccerzv which possesses characteristics which <br /> require special review and approval to determine whether the use <br /> may be permitted within the district in which it is designated as <br /> a conditional use. No conditional use may be approved except in <br /> .accordance with the procedures established herein. (Ord. No. <br /> 64 -49, Oct. 5, 1964, Ord. Na. 81 -044, July 6, 1981)• <br /> Section 7 -3 -641: CONDITIONAL USE - FINDINGS. A conditional use <br /> may be ap only if the approving body first makes the <br /> following findings: <br /> 1. That the proposed use, subject to any scecified <br /> conditions, will be consistent with the City cf San <br /> Leandro General Plan. <br /> 2. That the proposed use, subject to ary stecified <br /> conditions, will not be materially detrimental or <br /> injurious to procerty in the vicinity and Will not be <br /> materially detrimental to the public health, safety, <br /> general welfare, or convenience. <br /> 3. . That the proposed use, subject to any specs <br /> conditions, will not result in substantial hazard or <br /> • <br /> nuisance tc persons or procerty by reason of odor, dust, <br /> smoke, glare, heavy traffic, water or air pollution, <br /> electrial interference, cr through risk of fire, <br /> explosion or other excosure to dangerous materials cr <br /> conditions, or any similar nuisances or risks. <br /> 4. That the proposed use, subject to any soec'_fiec <br /> conditions, will 'me consistent_ with the purocses c_ the <br /> zoning ordinance. <br /> The findings herein required shall be supported in the record of <br /> the approving body's action.
