• • • • TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS, AND SUBDIVISIONS Chapter 14 Signs ARTICLE 2. EXEMPTIONS Section 7 -14 -200: EXEMPTIONS. The following signs shall be exempt from the provisions of this ordinance. Section 7 -14 -205: CONSTRUCTION SIGNS. One (1) construction sign with a maximum sign area of thirty -two (32) square feet . located on a construction site during the course of construction, which identifies the architects, engineers, contractors and other individuals or firms involved with the construction, and announcing the character of the building enterprise or purpose for which the building is intended. Section 7 -14 -210: DIRECTIONAL SIGNS. Directional signs: (a) Which serve public property or non-commercial property open to the Public; or (b) Which are installed upon the property served and are limited in face area to: (1) four (4) square feet; or (2) ten (10) square feet, if installed more than one hundred (100) feet from a public passageway. (Ordinance No. 75 -42, 8/11/75) Section 7 -14 -215: DISTRICT IDENTI:'ICATION SIGNS. Signs approved by the Site Development Sub- Commission which identify a district or area of the City. Section 7 -14 -220: MOTOR VEHICLES. Signs installed on a motor vehicle, except as provided in Section 7- 14- 590(c). Section 7 -14 -225: NAMEPLATES. Nameplates, provided that no nameplate shall exceed two (2) square feet in face area unless it is an integral part of the building. Section 7 -14 -230: PLANNED UNIT. DEVELOPMENT. Approved signs in a planned unit development, except that such signs shall be subject to the provisions of Articles 1, 3, 4 and 9 of this Chapter.
