• <br /> • • <br /> • <br /> TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS, AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 14 Signs <br /> ARTICLE 2. EXEMPTIONS <br /> Section 7 -14 -200: EXEMPTIONS. The following signs shall be <br /> exempt from the provisions of this ordinance. <br /> Section 7 -14 -205: CONSTRUCTION SIGNS. One (1) construction <br /> sign with a maximum sign area of thirty -two (32) square feet <br /> . located on a construction site during the course of construction, <br /> which identifies the architects, engineers, contractors and other <br /> individuals or firms involved with the construction, and <br /> announcing the character of the building enterprise or purpose for <br /> which the building is intended. <br /> Section 7 -14 -210: DIRECTIONAL SIGNS. Directional signs: <br /> (a) Which serve public property or non-commercial property <br /> open to the Public; or <br /> (b) Which are installed upon the property served and are <br /> limited in face area to: <br /> (1) four (4) square feet; or <br /> (2) ten (10) square feet, if installed more than one <br /> hundred (100) feet from a public passageway. <br /> (Ordinance No. 75 -42, 8/11/75) <br /> Section 7 -14 -215: DISTRICT IDENTI:'ICATION SIGNS. Signs <br /> approved by the Site Development Sub- Commission which identify a <br /> district or area of the City. <br /> Section 7 -14 -220: MOTOR VEHICLES. Signs installed on a motor <br /> vehicle, except as provided in Section 7- 14- 590(c). <br /> Section 7 -14 -225: NAMEPLATES. Nameplates, provided that no <br /> nameplate shall exceed two (2) square feet in face area unless it <br /> is an integral part of the building. <br /> Section 7 -14 -230: PLANNED UNIT. DEVELOPMENT. Approved signs in <br /> a planned unit development, except that such signs shall be <br /> subject to the provisions of Articles 1, 3, 4 and 9 of this <br /> Chapter.
