• • <br /> TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS, AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> Chapter 14 Signs <br /> (b) No sign shall overhang to within two (2) feet of a curb <br /> line. <br /> (c) A sign with overhang shall not be installed within ten <br /> (10) feet of an adjacent occupancy or vacant property <br /> other than a public passageway, except: <br /> (1) subject to Site Development Sub - Commission <br /> approval, a sign with overhang entirely over <br /> private property may be so installed; <br /> (2) such a sign may be installed at the center of the <br /> building frontage of an occupancy having a building <br /> frontage of twenty (20) feet or less. <br /> (d) A sign with overhang shall have overhead clearance of <br /> not less than ten (10) feet over a pedestrian passageway <br /> and not less than fourteen (14) feet over a vehicular <br /> passageway. This subparagraph shall not apply to barber <br /> poles which do not project more than eighteen (18) <br /> inches over a public passageway. (Ord. No. 72 -34 <br /> 6/12/72; Ord. Subject to Site <br /> Development Sub- Commission approval, signs which are an integral <br /> part of awnings or marquees are permitted in addition to signs <br /> otherwise permitted on the property. <br /> Section 7 -14 -520: UNDER - CANOPY SIGNS. Under - canopy signs may <br /> extend in excess of twelve (12) inches over pedestrian <br /> passageways. Such sign shall: <br /> (a) Contain only.the actual name or symbol of the occupant; <br /> (b) Not extend beyond the projection of the canopy; <br /> (c) Allow at least seven (7) feet clearance above the <br /> passageway; <br /> • <br /> (d) Contain no flashing or moving parts. <br /> Section 7 -14 -525: HEIGHT OF SIGNS.
