• • <br /> • <br /> TITLE VII MAPS, BUILDINGS, AND SUBDIVISIONS <br /> • Chapter 14 Signs <br /> (d) Any.person installing temporary signs or wind signs <br /> relating to a special event or a pending election <br /> without having filed a declaration of such intent, or <br /> any person on whose behalf such signs are installed, and <br /> any person installing temporary signs or wind signs of <br /> any other type, or any person on whose behalf such signs <br /> are installed, shall immediately remove such signs upon <br /> receipt of notice to remove from the Building <br /> Regulations Superintendent. Upon failure of such person <br /> to remove such signs, or in the event that .the Building <br /> Regulations Superintendent is unable to determine the <br /> identity of the person who installed such signs or the <br /> identity of the person on whose behalf such signs were <br /> installed, the Building Regulations Superintendent shall <br /> immediately remove such signs, and if the identity of <br /> the person who installed such signs or the identity of <br /> the person on whose behalf such signs were installed can <br /> be determined, collect the cost of such removal from <br /> such person. <br /> (e) Any cost incurred by the City in the removal of <br /> temporary signs or wind signs pursuant to this section <br /> is hereby declared to be a debt of the person installing <br /> such signs and a debt of the person on whose behalf such, . <br /> signs were installed to the City of San Leandro. No sign shall be <br /> installed within six hundred (600) feet of the right -of -way line <br /> of the Bay Area Rapid Transit District, except with Site <br /> Development Sub- Commission approval. (Ord. No. 73 -47, 7/30/73) <br /> Section 7 -14 -570: RECONSTRUCTION OF OFF -SITE ADVERTISING <br /> SIGNS. Subject to Site Development Sub - Commission approval, an <br /> off -site advertising sign lawfully ;maintained on November 1, 1974, <br /> may be reconstructed and installed within a zoning district where <br /> permitted, provided that: <br /> (a) Application for approval thereof is submitted on or <br /> before July 1, 1976; <br /> (b) Such sign is reconstructed and installed in accordance <br /> with development standards adopted by resolution of the <br /> Planning Commission. <br /> 9/28/82 -15- <br />
