Chapter 3 ® Zoning <br /> • <br /> Section 7 -3 -261: DENSITY LIMITATIONS: <br /> (a) The number of dwelling units in a multiple dwelling <br /> • shall not exceed the number obtained by dividing the <br /> area of the building site by one thousand (1,000) if the <br /> area is less than ten thousand (10,000) square feet or <br /> by five hundred (500) if the area is ten thousand <br /> (10,000) square feet or more and adjusting any <br /> 'fractional result equal to or greater than one -half <br /> (1/2) to the next higher whole number. <br /> (b) The number of accommodations for occupancy by each <br /> guest, boarder or patient in d hotel, boarding house or <br /> nursing home, rest home or home for the care of the aged <br /> shall not exceed the number obtained by dividing the <br /> • area of the building site by five hundred (500) and <br /> adjusting any fractional result equal to or greater than <br /> one -half (1/2) to the next higher whole number. Where <br /> one or more dwelling units also occupy the building <br /> site, the area of the building site for purposes of <br /> • computation hereunder shall first be reduced by fifteen <br /> hundred (1,500) square feet for each such dwelling <br /> unit. No. 69 -16 4/21/69) <br /> Section 7 -3 -262: YARD REQUIREMENTS: <br /> (a) The depth of the front yard shall be not less than ten <br /> (10) feet. <br /> (b) The width of each side yard shall be not less than ten <br /> (10) feet, plus one (1) additional foot for each foot of <br /> • building height in excess of fifty (50) feet. <br /> (c) The depth of the rear yard shall be not less than <br /> fifteen (15) feet for buildings fifty (50) feet or less <br /> in height and twenty (20) feet for buildings over fifty <br /> (50) feet in height. Construction of <br /> ramps for the purpose of providing access for handicapped persons <br /> may be permitted within any required yard area, subject to Site <br /> Development approval as provided in Sections 7 -3 -571 through <br /> 7- 3 -5 73.
