Task 2 - Review RFIs Consultant shall review requests for information (RFIs) from the Contractor forwarded by the City within a turnaround time of 7 calendar days. Task 2.1 — Review RFIs. Consultant shall receive, log, review, and respond to RFIs and issue interpretations and design clarifications to the contract documents. For budgeting purposes, Consultant shall respond to approximately 400 RFIs assuming an average review time of 6 hours per RFI response. Consultant Deliverables: • Written responses to RFIs. • Updates on hours and budget spent on RFIs included with the monthly progress summary letter. Task 3 - Review Submittals and Shop Drawings Consultant shall review submittals and shop drawings from the Contractor forwarded by the City within a turnaround time of 23 calendar days for routine submittals and 38 calendar days for complex equipment submittals per Section 01324. Task 3.1 — Review Submittals and Shop Drawings. Consultant shall receive, log, review and respond to submittals and shop drawing submittals (excluding contractor's geotechnical report and temporary shoring submittals) from the Contractor forwarded by the City. Marked -up submittals will be returned to the City for processing and distribution to the Contractor and other parties. For budgeting purposes, Consultant shall respond to approximately 440 submittals assuming an average processing and review time of 8 hours per submittal and 330 resubmittals assuming an average processing and review time of 4 hours per shop drawing resubmittal.
