• Field reports by geotechnical engineer for compliance with City Building & Structural <br />Department. <br />• Special Inspection Letter per Exhibit "E" for structures listed in this task. <br />Task 4.8 — Architectural Engineering and Landscaping Support Services. Consultant's <br />project architect (Burks Toma Architect) shall provide the following services: _project <br />management and reporting, construction administration services, attend 1 preconstruction <br />meeting for the Administration Control Building, attend 12 progress /technical meetings, provide <br />City Building & Structural Department permitting support, review 60 RFIs, review 75 submittals <br />and resubmittals, prepare 6 design clarifications, review 5 VE proposal, and perform 2 final <br />inspections. <br />Consultant's project architect shall also perform LEED certification services during construction <br />of the Administration Control Building, including: <br />• Upgrade building registration from LEED NC v2.2 during design to LEED 2009 NC 0 <br />during construction to coordinate with the Final Design Documents. <br />• Perform combined design and construction credit review and upload these credits during <br />the construction phase to achieve a minimum LEED silver rating. <br />• Perform LEED credit interpretation ruling and complete LEED on -line templates and <br />uploading to the USGBC website data for fourteen to eighteen construction credits and <br />prerequisites. <br />• Attend kick -off meeting with Contractor to review LEED construction aspects. <br />• Complete LEED on -line templates and uploading to the USGBC website data for 14 to <br />18 construction credits and prerequisites. Coordinate credit up -load with City and <br />subconsultants. <br />• Perform fundamental commissioning of the HVAC and plumbing systems in accordance <br />with guidelines of the commissioning documents prepared during the design phase. <br />Information Provided by City: <br />• LEED registration fees, currently estimated at $450 for upgrading to v3, $2,250 for <br />design and combined credit review, and $660 for three (3) credit interpretation rulings. <br />Consultant Deliverables: <br />Consulting Services Agreement between Project No. 08- 593 -52 -239 <br />City of San Leandro and Carollo Engineers, Inc.
