(1) "Joint Redevelopment Plan" means the Redevelopment Plan for the Alameda <br />County -City of San Leandro Redevelopment Project, adopted pursuant to this part by the City of <br />San Leandro by ordinance dated July 12, 1993, as amended. <br />(2) "Joint Project Area" means the redevelopment project area established by the <br />Joint Redevelopment Plan, which includes territory within both the City of San Leandro and the <br />unincorporated territory of the County of Alameda. <br />(3) "Voluntary Redevelopment Program" means the program set forth in Part 1.9 of <br />Division 24 of the Health and Safety Code. <br />(4) 'Dissolution Statute" means Part 1.85 of Division 24 of the Health and Safety <br />Code. <br />(5) "Continuing Agency" means: (A) the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency so <br />long as the County of Alameda and the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency are in <br />compliance with and participating in the Voluntary Redevelopment Program; and /or (B) the San <br />Leandro Redevelopment Agency so long as the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency are in compliance with and participating in the Voluntary <br />Redevelopment Program. <br />(6) 'Dissolved Agency" means: (A) the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency if it <br />has been dissolved pursuant to the Dissolution Statute; and /or (B) the San Leandro <br />Redevelopment Agency if it has been dissolved pursuant to the Dissolution Statute. <br />(7) "Successor Agency" means a successor agency of a Dissolved Agency established <br />pursuant to the Dissolution Statute. <br />(8) "Oversight Board" means an oversight board of a Successor Agency established <br />pursuant to the Dissolution Statute. <br />(9) "Agreement" means the Second Agreement Regarding Alameda County -City of <br />San Leandro Redevelopment Project by and among the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency, <br />the County of Alameda, and the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency, executed as of May <br />8, 2014,2.Q.0I and effective as of July 1, 2001, as may be amended from time to time. <br />. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . <br />10) ... (.4)ufAy ( I &ff ,a a }. <br />(b) The Legislature finds and declares all of the following: <br />(1) Pursuant to Section 33213, the Board of Supervisors of the County of Alameda <br />has authorized the redevelopment of the portion of the Joint Project Area within its territorial <br />limits by the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency pursuant to the Joint Redevelopment Plan. <br />(2) Since adoption of the Joint Redevelopment Plan and prior to enactment of this <br />section, the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency has exercised powers granted in this part in the <br />entire Joint Project Area. <br />(c) By ordinance, the legislative bodies of the City of San Leandro and the County of <br />Alameda may designate the Alameda County Redevelopment Agency to exercise exclusively <br />any of the powers granted under this part, including, but not limited to, the power of eminent <br />domain, within that portion of the Joint Project Area within the unincorporated territory of the <br />County of Alameda. <br />(d) Notwithstanding subdivision (c), by ordinance, the legislative bodies of the City <br />of San Leandro and the County of Alameda may further declare that insofar as it is necessary or <br />convenient for the San Leandro Redevelopment Agency to continue to exercise certain specified <br />powers granted under this part within or for the portion of the Joint Project Area within the <br />unincorporated territory of the County of Alameda, including, but not limited to, those relating to <br />2 <br />819\32 \1011477.2 with 1011477.1 <br />Redline - 1013517.1.DOC <br />
