It is recommended that connection fee receipts be <br />deposited in a Sewer Expansion Fund to be used only for <br />expansion projects. This will help ensure that <br />adequate funds will be available to fund costs of <br />future expansions and thus there should be no need to <br />issue long -term debt. If it is likely that there will <br />not be a future expansion, the connection fee receipts <br />could be used to fund costs of improvement projects or <br />to retire the General Fund loan. <br />4. Connection fee adjustments for nonresidential users <br />should continue to be made in the manner noted below: <br />Connection Fee Adjustments._ A connection fee <br />adjustment shall be made at the end of 1 year of <br />service for all nonresidential users to reflect <br />the actual wastewater discharge based on monitored <br />wastewater discharged or metered water usage <br />adjusted to eliminate consumption uses.
