Comply with federal, state and local statutes and <br />X <br />3, 4, 11 <br />regulations related to solid waste? <br />EXPLANATION: <br />a -g) Because the proposed project would result in greater population at the project site, it is expected that demand for public <br />utilities would increase. Depending on the existing and planned capacities to be available, the proposed project could <br />necessitate the alteration or construction of water, wastewater, or solid waste facilities resulting in a potentially significant <br />impact. As a result, implementation of the proposed project could result in adverse impacts on water supply. <br />Mitigation Measure #28: The applicant shall promote the efficient use of existing water supplies through a variety of <br />water conservation measures, including evaluating the potential for the use of recycled water for landscaping in <br />accordance with Zoning Code, Article 19 and General Plan Policy 27.02. <br />Mitigation Measure 929: The applicant shall conserve water through the use of such measures as low -flow plumbing <br />fixtures and water - saving appliances in accordance with General Plan Policy 27.04. <br />Mitigation Measure #30: The applicant shall be required to pay its fair share of the cost of improving the water, <br />sewer, drainage and other infrastructure systems needed to serve the development through the use fees or other <br />appropriate forms of mitigation in accordance with General Plan Policy 52.02. <br />Implementation of Mitigation Measures #28 to #30 reduce potential impacts to a less than significant level. <br />RUM <br />_- _- <br />a.
