Permit Applicant must demonstrate <br />compliance by submitting a Debris Recycling Statement before building permit <br />issuance and by submitting recycling and disposal documentation at the <br />conclusion of the project. <br />B. The applicant must clearly indicate on the site plan the proposed locations and <br />dimensions of each solid waste /recycling storage area including an enclosure <br />detail. The plan must also include the proposed size, number, and type of solid <br />waste and recycling containers to be stored in each enclosure. Refer to the Solid <br />Waste/Recycling Enclosure Guidelines for detailed requirements. Enclosure plans <br />are subject to review by the Engineering Department. <br />XII. ALAMEDA COUNTY FIRE DEPARTMENT REQUIREMENTS <br />A. The project shall comply with the applicable building and fire codes as adopted by <br />the City of San Leandro. Site, building and fire protection system plans shall be <br />provided for review and approval by the Fire Department. <br />B. Fire hydrants and fire flow are required for the project per the California Fire <br />Code Appendix B and C. The required fire flow for the site is 1500 gpm. Provide <br />fire flow information for the site. The fire flow information is available from <br />EBMUD. <br />C. Each residential building shall be provided with an automatic sprinkler system. <br />The sprinkler systems are required to be monitored by an approved supervising <br />station. <br />D. A Knox box is required at the entry to each building. A Knox key switch is <br />required at the gate in the driveway. <br />E. Prior to issuance of building permits, project plans shall show that all private <br />roads are marked "No Parking" and painted red, including the hammerhead <br />turnaround on the south portion of the site as well as any required fire lanes. <br />XIII. GENERAL CONDITIONS <br />A. Prior to issuance of building permits, a lighting plan and specific street lighting <br />details regarding location, candle power, and light levels (by submittal of a <br />photometric study) shall be reviewed and approved by the City Engineer and <br />Community Development Director. <br />Recommended Conditions of Approval November 21, 2011 <br />PLN2009- 00006; 2450 Washington Apartments Page 11 of 13 <br />
