Resolution - Council <br />File Number: 11 -389 Agenda Section: PUBLIC HEARINGS — CITY <br />COUNCIL <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Lianne Marshall <br />Interim City Manager /Executive Director <br />BY: Jacqui Diaz <br />Interim Assistant City Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW: Not Applicable <br />TITLE: ADOPT: Resolution Adopting San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 <br />Annex <br />Resolution Adopting San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex <br />WHEREAS, the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) requires local <br />jurisdictions to update their Local Hazard Mitigation Plans every five years in order to be <br />eligible for disaster mitigation and assistance funding; and <br />WHEREAS, the City has participated in the Association of Bay Area Governments <br />program for updating of its Local Hazard Mitigation Plan; and <br />WHEREAS, the San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex, a copy of <br />which is attached, has been presented to the City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof; and <br />follows: <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended approval of said Plan. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />That said San Leandro Local Hazard Mitigation Plan 2010 Annex is hereby adopted. <br />City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 12/13/2011 <br />
