Resolution - Council <br />File Number: 12 -266 Agenda Section: CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO: City Council <br />FROM: Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY: Uchenna Udemezue <br />Engineering & Transportation Director <br />FINANCE REVIEW: David Baum <br />Finance Director <br />TITLE: ADOPT: Resolution Approving Program Supplement Agreement No. 021 -N <br />To Administering Agency -State Master Agreement No. 04 -5041 R for the Safe <br />Routes To School (SRTS) Program, San Leandro K -8th Schools Traffic Safety <br />Education Program, State Project No. SRTSLNI- 5041(040), City Project No. <br />150 -38 -338 (accepts Federal Funds for K -8 School Safety Education <br />Program) <br />WHEREAS, the City of San Leandro has been awarded a $410,000 Safe Routes To <br />School (SRTS) Program grant for a Traffic Safety Education Program in San Leandro K -8th <br />Public Schools; and <br />WHEREAS, a Program Supplement Agreement must be completed to allow Caltrans to <br />disburse the SRTS grant funds; and <br />WHEREAS, Program Supplement No. 021 -N is to be incorporated into that Master <br />Agreement for State Funded Projects entered into between the City of San Leandro and the <br />State of California; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Manager has recommended the execution of said Program <br />Supplement No. 021 -N. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />That said Program Supplement No. 021 -N is hereby approved and the City Manager or his <br />authorized representative is hereby authorized and directed to execute the same on behalf of <br />the City. <br />City of San Leandro Page 1 Printed on 512912012 <br />
