File Number: 12 -287 <br />Analysis <br />For FY 2012 -2013, eight (8) agreements totaling $84,110 require Council approval. All <br />agreements are part of the CDBG public services budget (see below). The projects have <br />been approved by the City Council as part of the FY 2012 -2013 Consolidated Action Plan. <br />Public Services: <br />Building Futures with Women and Children - San Leandro Shelter- $14,718 <br />• Provide shelter and support services (counseling, housing placement, parenting <br />classes, and childcare) to homeless families in crisis. <br />Davis Street Family Resource Center - Basic Needs Program - $24,530 <br />Provide food, clothing, childcare, job readiness training, medical clinic, and social <br />services to low- income people. <br />Davis Street Family Resource Center - Community Counseling Program - $7,008 <br />Provide urgently needed mental health services to low- income people. <br />ECHO Housing - Tenant - Landlord Counseling Program - $10,512 <br />Provide counseling and education to tenants and landlords. <br />ECHO Housing - Rental Assistance Program - $5,000 <br />• Provide short -term assistance for delinquent rent or move -in costs for low- income <br />tenants. <br />Girls, Inc. - Family Strengthening Program - $7,008 <br />Provide mental health treatment services for pre - delinquent and delinquent children <br />and their families. <br />SAVE - Community Oriented Prevention Services - $7,667 <br />Provide prevention and intervention services to domestic violence victims. <br />SOS /Meals on Wheels - Meal Delivery to Homebound Seniors - $7,667 <br />Provide support services to low income seniors. <br />Current Agency Policies <br />Current Council policy is defined by the FY 2010 -2014 Consolidated Plan, adopted by <br />Resolution No. 2010 -038 on April 19, 2010. <br />Previous Actions <br />On April 16, 2012, the City Council approved the FY 2012 -2013 Consolidated Action Plan <br />which included these eight (8) programs /projects described above. <br />Committee Review and Actions <br />On October 13, 2011, the City Council Housing and Business Development Subcommittee <br />considered this matter and concurred with the recommendation.
