• • <br /> d. In accordance with the expenditures authorized by the fire budget <br /> the ACFD shall purchase all materials, supplies, equipment, labor, professional services <br /> and related items necessary for performance of all services under this Agreement. Should <br /> the Fire Chief believe that the approved fire budget is insufficient in any respect to <br /> insure the provision of service at the service levels required herein, he shall inform the <br /> City Manager in writing specifying the budgetary deficiencies. <br /> e. A pro forma budget for fire services is attached hereto as Appendix <br /> 6 and shall be considered for illustrative purposes only. <br /> Section 9. COST AND PAYMENT FOR SERVICE: <br /> a. The City shall pay to the County for services under this Agreement <br /> an amount based upon the fire budget. Payments shall be made at the time and in the <br /> manner mutually convenient for the parties for cash flow and payroll purposes, but no <br /> less than monthly in advance, provided, however, that County is not entitled to withhold <br /> or set -off from any funds or revenues which it holds on account for the City any amounts <br /> owed hereunder. <br /> b. On or about January 1 of each fiscal year covered by this Agreement, <br /> the Fire Chief shall meet with the City Manager to reconcile actual versus budgeted <br /> expenditures for the prior six (6) months. <br /> FIRE PROTECTION AND EMERGENCY <br /> MEDICAL SERVICES AGREEMENT Page 12 of 21 <br /> - - - 16 <br />
