For mandatory "off duty" response due to any emergency <br /> incident within the. City of San Leandro. <br /> 2. For mandatory "off duty".attendance at San Leandro • Fire Department staff meetings. <br /> 3. For mandatory "off duty" attendance at training <br /> activities required to maintain Fire Department <br /> • certifications. Training for maintenance of required <br /> certificates will be provided "on duty" and will be <br /> scheduled to accommodate all platoons. Personnel <br /> required to attend makeup training sessions due to <br /> vacation, holiday or sick leave usage will be paid • <br /> overtime based upon the fifty -six hour pay rate. <br /> Personnel who do not attend scheduled training <br /> sessions due to "Trades" or unauthorized absences are <br /> required to attend makeup training sessions at no cost <br /> to the City. <br /> 4. For mandatory call -in during Thanksgiving Day, <br /> Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. <br /> 5. For :mandatory call -in of less than eight hours to <br /> starf vacancies caused by mutual aid to ether agencies <br /> or for direct mandatory response to the mutual aid <br /> incident. Overtime cf eight hours or more shall be <br /> paid at the fifty -six hour pay rate. <br /> For any overtime call in on a normal day off, a minimum <br /> per , two hours' pay at the overtime rate will be paid for each • <br /> of the first two such call in. For mandatory court <br /> 5(c U appearance on a normal day off, a minimum two hours pay at <br /> fx the overtime rate will be paid, plus payment of•necessary <br /> 1 and actual related expenses. <br /> Required duty which occurs immediately before or after • <br /> scheduled duty hours shall be deemed an extension of the <br /> shit and the two (2) hour minimum shall not apply. Pay <br /> shall be at the 56 hour pay rate.
