Appendix C <br /> P <br /> D <br /> age 6 <br /> 1328 Form of Application (Coned) <br /> When an examination has been announced as a continuous examination as provided in rule 1436, <br /> the closing date shall be indefinite and the period of applying shall continue until suspended or <br /> terminated by order of the Commission. <br /> • This rule shall not apply where an examination is held entirely on an oral basis, or where other <br /> special circumstances make the procedure not feasible. In such case, each applicant shall file the <br /> official application form referred to in rule 1332 before the announced closing date. <br /> In promotional examinations, the preliminary -forms shall be checked against personnel records, <br /> and any applicant who does not meet the announced requirements shall be disqualified in <br /> advance. <br /> • <br /> 1332 Filing of Official Application Form <br /> Upon completion of the written or subject matter portion of the examination, those candidates <br /> who pass shall then be required to file an official application form with theCommission by a <br /> specified date prior to the date of the oral interview. No one shall be admitted to the oral <br /> interview who has not filed his official application form, or who is found from the information on • <br /> the official application form not to meet the announced requirements for admission to the <br /> examination. <br /> • <br /> When an examination has been announced as a continuous examination as provided in rule 1436, <br /> the closing date shall be indefinite and the period for filing applications shall continue until <br /> • suspended or terminated by order of the Commission. <br /> 1336 Resection <br /> The Commission may reject an application, or may disqualify an applicant at any stage of the <br /> examination process, or may remove an eligible from an employment list, for any of the following <br /> reasons: If he does not meet the minimum requirements as stated in the official announcement, <br /> or has not conformed with other published requirements, or has made false statements in his <br /> application, or is so deficient in personal qualifications or physical ability as to be unfit .for <br /> • effective service in the class. <br /> 1340 Notice of Rejection <br /> Whenever an application is rejected, the applicant shall be notified in writing and advised of the <br /> reason for rejection. <br /> 1344 Right to Appeal <br /> Whenever an application is rejected, the applicant may file a written appeal for reconsideration <br /> by the Commission. Such appeal shall be filed immediately on receipt of the rejection notice.
