SAN LEANDRO ADMINISTRATIVE CODE FINANCE <br />TITLE 6, Chapter 4 FISCAL YEAR 2014 Proposed FEES <br />Current Fee Reference Proposed Explanation of FY 2013-14 <br />§ 6.4.100: FEES. The following fees have been established by the City Council pursuant to various provisions of the San Leandro Municipal Code (SLMC), San Leandro Administrative Code (SLAC) or the general laws of the State of California. <br />Description <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - Building Regulations Division (continued) <br />2 Building Permit (Continued) <br />C. Satellite Dish Antenna $137.00 <br />D. Minor Kitchen Remodel Permit:a.Single kitchen or bath remodel (permit to <br />include electrical, plumbing, mechanical <br />ventilation and appliances) $345.00 <br /> <br />(Limited to work without framing changes.)b. Additional bath remodel when concurrent with <br />kitchen or bath remodel within the same structure <br />and at same time $143.00 <br />E. Plan Checking <br />Plan checking fee shall be paid at the time of application for a building permit. The <br />plan checking fee is in addition to the building permit fee and shall be as follows: <br />(1) Residential Fire Sprinklers for 1 & 2 Family Dwelling New Construction <br />Effective January 1, 2011, fire sprinkler systems became mandatory in 1 and 2 family <br />dwellings. The Division of Building and Safety will be reviewing and inspecting the <br />installation of these systems. <br />$468.00 flat fee to include plan review and <br />inspection of residential fire sprinkler systems <br />when installed in conjunction with new 1 & 2 <br />family dwelling construction. <br /> <br />(2) In-house- During Regular Working Hours 80% of the building permit fee <br />For Master Plans (i.e. identical buildings built by the same builder on the <br />same lot or in the same tract and for which building permits are issues at <br />the same time): <br />A full plan checking fee shall be paid for each <br />Master Plan when more than one building will be <br />built and one half (50%) of the full plan checking <br />fee shall be paid for each building at time of <br />application. <br />Changes, revisions, or additions to plans previously checked.Direct Cost(1) - 1 hour minimum charge <br />Outside plan checking services as utilized at discretion of Building <br />Official. <br />Same as for In-house- During Regular Working Hours <br />Additional Plan Review after the first recheck Direct Cost (1) - 1 hour minimum per occurrence <br />(3) In-house - Outside of Normal Business Hours When Requested by Applicant Same as for In-house- During Regular Working <br />Hours PLUS overtime and overhead charges <br />(4) By Outside Consultant, When Requested by Applicant <br />(5) Over the Counter for Small Changes, Revisions or Additions, when requested by applicant Direct Cost (1), with minimum of one-half hour <br />(6) Expedited Plan Check when requested by applicant & when plan reviewer is available Full plan check fee plus one and one-half times Direct Cost(1) <br />(7) Phased Plan check- when the foundation or another part of the building needs <br />approval and permit issuance prior to the whole building <br />One and One-half (1-1/2) times the full plan <br />check fee for the entire building <br />(8) Alternate Methods and Materials Direct cost (1) 1 hour minimum charge <br />(9) Energy Conservation: for all buildings subject to the California Energy <br />Commission’s conservation regulations <br />20% of Building Permits <br />(10) California Health & Safety Code, section 18949.29 fee applied to all projects <br />requiring a "Building Permit". <br />5% of Building Permit Fee - For training and <br />continuing education required by the California <br />Health and Safety Code, section 18949. <br />3 Electrical Permit <br />A.
