File Number: 13-301 <br />Section 7 of this agreement granted the ACFD the use of the training tower and Fire Training <br />Center for training of its personnel at no cost. The ACFD entered into another agreement <br />with the City on September 6, 2005 regarding fire and emergency response services. Section <br />4 of the agreement briefly discusses the use of the Fire Training Center by the ACFD (at no <br />cost to ACFD) and the responsibilities for maintenance. <br />Applicable General Plan Policies <br />Goal 45.01. Maintain high-quality police and fire protection services through the most efficient <br />and effective possible means . <br />Previous Actions <br />·On June 26, 1995, by Ordinance No. 95-010, Council adopted an Urgency Ordinance <br />Amending Chapter 2 of Title I of the San Leandro Municipal Code relating to departments , <br />approving the fire protection and emergency medical services agreement and declaring <br />this matter an urgency measure to take effect July 1, 1995 <br />·On September 6, 2005, by Resolution No. 2005-129, Council approved an agreement <br />between the City and the Alameda County Fire Department regarding fire and emergency <br />response services <br />Fiscal Impacts <br />Revenue in the amount of $129,384 will be generated the first year, with the rent increasing <br />by a minimum of 3.5% each year after that.
