File Number: 13-265 <br />agencies will each receive additional funding. <br />While the HSC’s CAP recommendations are for a two -year period (FY 2013-2014 and FY <br />2014-2015) funding for FY 2014-2015 is dependent upon the City’s annual entitlement grant <br />from HUD and the performance of each service provider in FY 2013-2014. To date, these six <br />organizations have continued to meet and exceed their annual objectives and provide needed <br />services to San Leandrans. <br />Analysis <br />For FY 2013-2014, the six agreements totaling $107,420 require Council approval. All <br />agreements are part of the CDBG public services budget (see below) and the projects have <br />been approved by the City Council as part of the FY 2013-2014 Consolidated Annual Action <br />Plan. <br />Public Services: <br />CALICO - Child Abuse Intervention Project - $13,000 <br />·Provides family support services for children who have suffered abuse . <br />Davis Street Family Resource Center - Basic Needs Program - $41,520 <br />·Provide food, clothing, childcare, job readiness training, medical and mental health <br />clinics, and social services to low-income people. <br />FESCO - Les Marquis Emergency Shelter - $13,000 <br />·Provide a safe, home-like environment, counseling, and support for homeless families. <br />SOS/Meals on Wheels - Meal Delivery to Homebound Seniors - $16,900 <br />·Provide support services to low income seniors. <br />Spectrum Community Services - Senior Nutrition Program - $13,000 <br />·Provide seniors with hot, nutritious meals in supportive settings. <br />ECHO Housing - Fair Housing Counseling - $10,000 <br />·Provide fair housing services. <br />Current Agency Policies <br />Current Council policy is defined by the FY 2010-2014 Consolidated Plan, adopted by <br />Resolution No. 2010-038 on April 19, 2010. <br />Previous Actions <br />On May 6, 2013, the City Council approved the FY 2013-2014 Consolidated Action Plan which <br />included these six programs/projects described above. <br />Environmental Review <br />National Environmental Protection Act (NEPA) environmental reviews of each project have <br />been completed. <br />Page 2 City of San Leandro Printed on 6/25/2013
