City of San Leandro <br />Meeting Date: October 7, 2013 <br />Resolution - Council <br />Agenda Section:File Number:13-473 CONSENT CALENDAR <br />Agenda Number: <br />TO:City Council <br />FROM:Chris Zapata <br />City Manager <br />BY:LaTanya Bellow <br />Human Resources Manager <br />FINANCE REVIEW:Carla Rodriguez <br />Deputy Finance Director <br />TITLE:ADOPT: Resolution Approving a Memorandum of Understanding Between <br />the City of San Leandro and the San Leandro City Employees’ Association <br />(SLCEA) for the period January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015 <br />(provides for a three-year contract) <br />WHEREAS, an agreement was reached between the negotiators for the City of San <br />Leandro and the San Leandro City Employees’ Association (SLCEA) and ratified by the <br />employees represented by the SLCEA; and <br />WHEREAS, a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the City and the <br />SLCEA, for the period January 1, 2013 through December 31, 2015, has been presented to <br />this City Council; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council is familiar with the contents thereof. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of San Leandro does RESOLVE as <br />follows: <br />1.That said MOU, is hereby approved and execution by the City Manager is hereby <br />authorized; and <br />2.That the City Manager is authorized to make non-substantial revisions to said MOU, <br />subject to the approval of the City Attorney ; and <br />3.That an original executed MOU shall be attached to and made a part of this <br />resolution. <br />Page 1 City of San Leandro Printed on 10/2/2013
