Temporary Appointment - The appointment of a person to a position in a classification listed in <br /> Appendix "A" for a specified duration not to exceed twenty-four (24) months. The City shall <br /> provide notice to the Union of all temporary appointments. <br /> Section 41. Provisions Applicable to Part-time and Temporary Employees: <br /> The following sections of the MOU apply as specified to part-time, permanent part-time and <br /> temporary employees as they are defined below: <br /> Part-Time: Hourly employees who work 999 hours or less in a fiscal year.
