Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - January 17, 1995 Page - 8 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> Resolution No. 95-11 , Resolution Approving Parcel Map 6828 (Roberts' <br /> Landing) (provides for subdivision of existing 80.29-acre parcel into <br /> three parcels; Subdivider, Santa Clara Land Title Company) . <br /> (2690/1690) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Kerr, who moved its adoption, seconded by <br /> Council Member Polvorosa, carried by a majority vote (5) , with Council <br /> Member Loeffler voting no (1) , and Council Member Galvan absent (1) . <br /> B. Resolution No. 95-12, Resolution Approving Tentative Map, Tract 6724, <br /> for Conversion of Twenty-Six (26)-Unit Apartment Building to <br /> Condominium Ownership at 433 Harlan Street; Developer, Harold G. <br /> Nelson. (2779) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its adoption, <br /> seconded by Council Member Myers, and carried by a majority vote (6) , <br /> with Council Member Galvan absent (1) . <br /> C. Minute Order No. 95-2, Matter of Approval of Amendment to the Hazardous <br /> Materials Joint Powers Agreement By and Among the Cities of Hayward, <br /> Union City, and San Leandro (approves an amendment to the Hazardous <br /> Materials Joint Powers Agreement [JPA] to allow the City of Hayward to <br /> separate from the JPA) . (2662) <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Perry, and carried by a majority vote (6) , with Council <br /> Member Galvan absent, the City Council approved the Amendment to the <br /> Hazardous Materials Joint Powers Agreement By and Among the Cities of <br /> Hayward, Union City, and San Leandro. <br /> D. Matter of Approval of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Transition <br /> Plan Update. <br /> Community Relations Representative Kathy Ornelas presented the staff <br /> report. She described the requirements of the Americans with <br /> Disabilities Act and the steps the City has taken to identify physical <br /> barriers and to develop a schedule and cost estimates for their <br /> correction. She requested that the City Council approve the Transition <br /> Plan and said it would serve as the City's guide to making San Leandro <br /> physical barrier-free. <br /> The City Council commended Ms. Ornelas for her work on this matter. In <br /> response to Council Members' questions, Ms. Ornelas described the <br /> outreach program to obtain input on the Plan and potential funding for <br /> the improvements. <br />
