Barbara Fields, 1565 - 168th Avenue, said the City of Hayward has <br /> looked into having the new Development Services building located near <br /> the Hayward BART station and has obtained the artist's rendering. She <br /> suggested San Leandro obtain the renderings and be competitive with <br /> Hayward. <br /> D. Lavern Anderson thanked the City for the earthquake information. He <br /> spoke regarding the recycling dumpster at Marina Faire Shopping Center <br /> and said it cannot be used for cardboard because it is locked; he noted <br /> the majority of the garbage that leaves the center is cardboard, which <br /> should be recycled. <br /> 6. CONSENT CALENDAR <br /> Consent Calendar items are typically routine in nature and are considered <br /> for approval by the City Council with one single action. The City Council <br /> may remove items from the Consent Calendar for purposes of discussion. <br /> Items listed on the Consent Calendar are deemed to have been read by title. <br /> Item 6.0 was removed from the Consent Calendar to New Business and Tabled. <br /> The remaining items on the Consent Calendar were approved as follows: <br /> Introduced by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved adoption of the Consent <br /> Calendar, with all items deemed to have been read by title, seconded by <br /> Council Member Myers, and carried by a majority vote (7) . <br /> A. Minutes of the Meeting of January 17, 1995. <br /> B. Minutes of the Adjourned Meeting of January 23, 1995. <br /> C. Resolution Approving Contractual Services Agreement with The Sear-Brown <br /> Group Related to the Water Pollution Control Plant Seismic Retrofit, <br /> Phases 2 and 3, Project No. 593-8541 (provides for preparation of <br /> contract documents and bidding and permit support) . Removed from the <br /> Consent Calendar to New Business. <br /> D. Resolution No. 95-13, Resolution Approving Plans and Specifications and <br /> Calling for Bids for Intersection Improvements at Merced Street/Fairway <br /> Drive, Project No. 94-120-8360 (provides for street widening and <br /> traffic signal improvements at the Merced Street/Fairway Drive <br /> intersection) .
