He said a breakdown in communication took place, and <br /> residents near the park were not actively involved. He said he <br /> appreciates the efforts of Friends of the Creek and others who are <br /> trying to make something happen but suggested that the project be <br /> deferred into another fiscal year in order to refine the project and <br /> bring more people into the planning process. <br /> The City Manager pointed out that the bids on the project would only be <br /> good for a period of 45 days, until June 9th, and would be void <br /> thereafter. <br />
