She said a comment was made that without Dublin-San <br /> Ramon's participation there is not enough money to make the deal work. <br /> She has not seen that as an absolute and would like to see it explored. <br /> She said Council Member Myers had said that the proposal now does not <br /> allow any promise or guarantee to sell capacity in the future, but the <br /> agreement itself -did not.,have'.any• 'statement that San Leandro cannot <br /> sell in the future. <br /> Council Member Myers said his proposal is as stated in the motion. <br /> Mayor Corbett said she was referring to the LAVWMA proposal and said it <br /> does not speak to San Leandro's ability to sell capacity in the future. <br /> Mayor Corbett said periodic reports on the EBDA activities were made <br /> over the last year. She said she is still concerned about letting go <br /> of the possibility of seeing the current proposal accepted because she <br /> is concerned it will take a long time to get all the parties back <br /> together. <br /> The City Council voted on the motion as follows: <br /> Minute Order 95-64, Matter of Proposal from Livermore-Amador Valley <br /> Water Management Agency (LAVWMA) for Expanded Use of East Bay <br /> Dischargers Wastewater Outfall . (1221) <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Kerr, and carried by a majority vote (6) , with Mayor <br /> Corbett abstaining (1) , the City Council directed the City's <br /> Representative and Alternate to the East Bay Discharger's Authority <br /> (EBDA) to vote "NO". on_ the current Livermore-Amador Valley Water <br /> Management Agency (LAVWMA) proposal and instructed the San Leandro <br /> Representative and Alternate to urge EBDA to continue negotiations and <br /> work toward resolution of outstanding issues, such as active <br /> participation of Dublin-San Ramon Services District in the LAVWMA <br /> proposal and resolution regarding EBDA's member agencies' ability to <br /> sell excess capacity to LAVWMA. <br /> L.
