Ordinance No. 95-038, An Ordinance Relating to Speed Limits, Title VI, <br /> Chapter 1 of the San Leandro Municipal Code (provides for 30 mile-per- <br /> hour speed limit on Estudillo Avenue, between MacArthur Boulevard and <br /> Lake Chabot Road; and 30 mile-per-hour speed limit on Grand Avenue, <br /> between MacArthur Boulevard and Benedict Drive) . Matter of Bay Area Defense Conversion Action Team (BADCAT) Regarding <br /> the Position Paper, "Expediting Economic Development on Closing Bay <br /> Area Military Bases: A Proposal to Improve the Base Conversion <br /> Process." <br /> Council Member Perry said this organization provides funding to the <br /> organization by which she is employed and she would be abstaining. <br /> Minute Order No. 95-83, Matter of Bay Area Defense Conversion Action <br /> Team (BADCAT) Regarding the Position Paper, "Expediting Economic <br /> Development on Closing Bay Area Military Bases: A Proposal to Improve <br /> the Base Conversion Process." <br /> On motion by Council Member Loeffler, who moved its approval , seconded <br /> by Council Member Polvorosa, with Council Member Kerr absent (1) , <br /> Council Member Perry abstaining (1) , and carried by a majority vote <br /> (5) , the City Council supported the position, as cited in the Position <br /> Paper. <br />
