(2749) <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Nahm, and carried by the following called vote, the City <br /> Council directed staff to prepare a report on the initiative, pursuant <br /> to Section 4009.5 of the Elections Code, within 60 days. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> S. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. Matter of Fallen Leaf Subdivision; 344-354 Preda Street; Assessor's <br /> Parcel Number 75-141-2-1 and 75-141-4; Pacific Union Ventures; C-4 <br /> (Heavy Commercial ) District. <br /> - Certification of Mitigated Negative Declaration. <br /> - A-93-2; Reclassification; Rezone from C-4 (Heavy Commercial ) to R-1- <br /> PDC (Single Family-Planned Development Combining) District. <br /> - PD-93-5, GDP/PDP; Planned Unit Development, General and Precise <br /> Development Plans; for 20 Detached, Single-Family Homes. <br /> - Resolution Approving Tentative Map, Tract 6632; 344-354 Preda <br /> Street. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, Elmer Penaranda, Associate Planner, said, in January. the <br /> Council approved a subdivision for 35 single-family homes. He said the <br /> name has now been changed to Camellia Court. He said tonight's <br /> Application is similar to Camellia Court. It is to rezone the property <br /> from C-4 to R-1-PDC, a Planned Unit Development for 20 single-family <br /> homes, and there is a Tentative Map and a Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration. He discussed the project density and exterior design and <br /> said they would be similar to Phase 1 . He presented slides showing <br /> typical elevations and the construction on Phase 1 . He said the <br /> Planing Commission recommended approval of the project and associated <br /> actions. <br /> Council Member Myers asked if the homes would have alarms; Mr. <br /> Penaranda said it was an option. <br /> Council Member Polvorosa asked where the flume was and where core <br /> samples were taken. <br />
