CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS <br /> A. Council Member Myers noted that this Saturday the Kiwaniis' "Back-to- <br /> School Pasta Dinner, " sponsored by Strizzi 's would be held at the <br /> Community Library. <br /> B. Council Member Corbett noted she attended community meetings with the <br /> North Area Task Force, including citizens, staff, and representatives <br /> of the Safeway Store on Dutton Avenue, to address concerns regarding <br /> the store. She said they were good meetings. She noted that the Task <br /> Force had asked Safeway to include organic produce in the store, and <br /> the store has agreed to do so. <br /> C. Council Member Polvorosa noted there has been an increase in graffiti <br /> on the Floresta overpass. <br /> D. Council Member Kerr asked if there had been any complaints about the <br /> lack of a wall on the Floresta overpass. Council Member Polvorosa said <br /> there was concern when it was first opened. Mayor Faria said he <br /> understands a number of people in the Washington Manor area would like <br /> to get together to collect funds to install a rail . • <br />
