Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - November 15, 1993 Page - 5 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> In response to a question from Council Member Corbett, it was noted <br /> that the ballot arguments would not be presented to the Council until <br /> after the impact report on Roberts' Landing has been presented. <br /> The following Motion was then introduced: <br /> Minute Order No. 93-83. 1994 Election Matters. <br /> On motion by Council Member Myers, who moved its approval , seconded by <br /> Council Member Kerr, and carried by the following called vote, the City <br /> Council approved staff recommendations related to the 1994 General <br /> Municipal Election, as described in the staff report dated November 10, <br /> 1993, and as follows: <br /> - $450 deposit for Candidate's Statements, the balance to be refunded <br /> or charged depending on the final. costs. <br /> - Direction to the City Attorney to prepare two additional Charter <br /> Amendments and to place the Amendments on the ballot related to the <br /> location of City Council meetings and Election dates. <br /> - Appointment of a City Council Subcommittee to consider and prepare <br /> City Council ballot arguments for or against any of the measures on <br /> the ballot. Mayor Faria appointed himself and Council Members Nahm <br /> and Myers to the subcommittee. <br /> - Determination that rebuttals to arguments will not be permitted. <br /> - Direction to City Attorney to prepare impartial analyses for any <br /> measures on the ballot. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> 8. PUBLIC HEARINGS <br /> A. Matter of Vesting Tentative Map, Tract 6648, for Roberts' Landing, <br /> Phase 1B. <br /> This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above <br /> matter, Steve Emslie, Planning Manager, said the Vesting Tentative Map <br /> was proposed with 98 lots, and the developer is requesting that 7 of <br /> the lots, which are under Corps of Engineers wetland jurisdiction, be <br /> removed, for a total of 91 lots. He said the 91 lots would be <br /> consistent with the Precise Development Plan, would be an average of <br /> 4,500 square feet, and would be completely interchangeable with all of <br /> the models.
