Ordinance No. 94-03, An Ordinance of the City of San Leandro Amending <br /> Section 6-5-215 of the San Leandro Municipal Code to Allow Exemption <br /> from the Provisions of Municipal Code Section 6-5-215 for On-Duty <br /> Police Officers (allows a San Leandro Police Officer to operate a <br /> bicycle on any street, sidewalk, path or other public property while <br /> engaged in the performance of his/her duties) . (1413) <br /> Introduced by Council Member Nahm, who moved that it be passed to <br /> print, seconded by Council Member Myers, and carried by the following <br /> called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Kerr, Myers, Nahm, Perry, Polvorosa; <br /> Mayor Faria ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> B. Council Member Myers said he met some people from Merced who said they <br /> had stayed at the Marina Inn and felt it was the best inn they had <br /> seen; they said it has a homey atmosphere and good service. <br /> B. Council Member Corbett said she attended the Community Education <br /> Foundation Dinner. She said the dinner, which raises a lot of money, <br /> offers grants to four special programs in the School District and a <br /> number of members of the business community served as celebrity <br /> waiters. <br />
