Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - August 1, 1994 Page - 8 - NEW BUSINESS (continued) The following Resolution was then introduced: Resolution No. 94-148, Resolution Amending Section 1 , Classes, Categories, and Salaries of the Pay Plan (amends the Pay Plan to implement the consolidation plan associated with clerical/administrative staff support for the Mayor's/City Manager's Office) . (1177) Introduced by Council Member Myers, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Perry, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Galvan, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; ( 4 ) NOES: Council Members Kerr and Loeffler; Mayor Corbett ( 3 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) A. Resolution Rejecting Bids for Root Park Improvements, Project No. 93- 8687 (rejects all bids received on July 19, 1994) . The City Manager noted only two bids, both significantly higher than the Engineer's Estimate, had been received on this project. City Engineer Bill Silva said staff proposed to reevaluate and rebid the project next year. In response to Council questions, he said this would not impact the permit which had been obtained from the Department of Fish and Game, and staff and the consultant would work with contractors who have experience in creek restoration. He said bidders with creek experience had not bid on the project because of their work loads but would be more likely to bid in the early spring. The following Resolution was then introduced: Resolution No. 94-149, Resolution Rejecting Bids for Root Park Improvements, Project No. 93-8687 (rejects all bids received on July 19, 1994) .
