Continued from February 3, 1992, City Council Meeting.
This being the time and place for the Public Hearing on the above
matter, Norm Weisbrod, Associate Planner, said the City Council had
directed staff to look into problems in traffic circulation at the
Greenhouse Market Place.
Roy Parker, Transportation Administrator, had met on the site with Norm
Weisbrod and Council Member Glaze and indicated that he does not
regulate traffic on private property unless it causes problems on City
streets. He said the proposed market will have access from Lewelling
Boulevard without going through the Greenhouse Market Place site.
Mr. Weisbrod said the Sav Mart site is a separate piece of property
developed after the main section of the Greenhouse Market Place
Shopping Center. He said Sav Mart would not have the ability to meet
Conditions which required that modifications be made to the Greenhouse
Market Place site since they are separately owned pieces of property.
