Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 2, 1992 Page - 12 - <br /> NEW BUSINESS (continued) <br /> The following motion was then introduced: <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 92-17 (1051) <br /> MATTER OF FINANCIAL PLAN FOR <br /> SAN LEANDRO'S FUTURE <br /> On motion by Council Member Perry, who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Corbett, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council <br /> authorized the City Manager to direct staff to prepare the 1992-93 City Budget <br /> in accordance with the recommended modifications to the approved Financial Plan <br /> as presented to the City Council on February 25, 1992. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> M. Matter of Marina Community Center Project. <br /> Mike Oliver thanked the City Council for the hard work and support on <br /> the Financial Plan. He requested approval of a motion related to the <br /> February 25, 1992, Work Session discussion. <br /> Council Member Faria asked what the status was for funding the <br /> Industrial Preservation Ordinance program. Mr. Oliver said the program <br /> was to have been funded via business-license fee increases, and this <br /> matter would be discussed in greater detail and discussed with the <br /> Chamber of Commerce. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> MINUTE ORDER NO. 92-18 <br /> MATTER OF MARINA COMMUNITY CENTER PROJECT <br /> On motion by Council Member Glaze, who moved its approval , seconded by Council <br /> Member Perry, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council <br /> authorized staff to modify the Agreement with TSH Architects and to come back to <br /> the City Council with the preliminary concept design, including phasing and costs <br /> for both interior and exterior work, on the Marina Community Center, including <br /> looking at the possibility of maintaining the existing kitchen amenities. Staff <br /> was directed to prioritize the work that could be done without utilizing the <br /> City's $400,000. <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br />
