Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 2, 1992 Page - 8 - NEW BUSINESS (continued) G. Resolution of Intention to Initiate Amendment of the Underground Utility District Master Plan. Bill Silva, City Engineer, said a Public Hearing before the Planning Commission was scheduled for March 12, 1992, and then the Amendment of the Underground Utility District Master Plan would be discussed with . the City Council at their April 6, 1992, Work Session. Council Member Faria said in 1985 there had been a lot of discussion on the Master Plan, and he wanted to ensure people understand what the changes in the Plan mean and requested that the Chamber of Commerce and the Manufacturers' Association, specifically, be included in the process. The City Clerk noted the City Council had received an amended Resolution which set the Public Hearing date for April 20, 1992. The following Resolution was then introduced: RESOLUTION NO. 92-53 (1207) RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO INITIATE AMENDMENT OF THE UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT MASTER PLAN Introduced by Council Member Glaze, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council Member Corbett, and carried by the following called vote: AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) H. Resolution Establishing Election Precincts; Designating Polling Places; Appointing Election Officers and Establishing Compensation for Such Election Officers for the April 14, 1992, General Municipal Election. The City Clerk noted the City Council had received an amended Resolution which reflected the addition of two, new precincts, which the Alameda County Registrar of Voters' Office said had been required as a result of the recent State redistricting. She also said there would be two precincts which previously had no voters but now had one and two voters, respectively, and those precincts would be processed as "mailed precincts" and would receive Absentee Ballots automatically.
