Resolution of Intention to Initiate Amendment of the Underground <br /> Utility District Master Plan. <br /> Bill Silva, City Engineer, said a Public Hearing before the Planning <br /> Commission was scheduled for March 12, 1992, and then the Amendment of <br /> the Underground Utility District Master Plan would be discussed with . <br /> the City Council at their April 6, 1992, Work Session. <br /> Council Member Faria said in 1985 there had been a lot of discussion on <br /> the Master Plan, and he wanted to ensure people understand what the <br /> changes in the Plan mean and requested that the Chamber of Commerce and <br /> the Manufacturers' Association, specifically, be included in the <br /> process. <br /> The City Clerk noted the City Council had received an amended <br /> Resolution which set the Public Hearing date for April 20, 1992. <br /> The following Resolution was then introduced: <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 92-53 (1207) <br /> RESOLUTION OF INTENTION <br /> TO INITIATE AMENDMENT OF THE <br /> UNDERGROUND UTILITY DISTRICT MASTER PLAN <br /> Introduced by Council Member Glaze, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council <br /> Member Corbett, and carried by the following called vote: <br /> AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos; <br /> Mayor Karp ( 7 ) <br /> NOES: None ( 0 ) <br /> ABSENT: None ( 0 ) <br /> H. Resolution Establishing Election Precincts; Designating Polling Places; <br /> Appointing Election Officers and Establishing Compensation for Such <br /> Election Officers for the April 14, 1992, General Municipal Election. <br /> The City Clerk noted the City Council had received an amended <br /> Resolution which reflected the addition of two, new precincts, which <br /> the Alameda County Registrar of Voters' Office said had been required <br /> as a result of the recent State redistricting. <br /> She also said there would be two precincts which previously had no <br /> voters but now had one and two voters, respectively, and those <br /> precincts would be processed as "mailed precincts" and would receive <br /> Absentee Ballots automatically. <br />
