Barbara Tierney, 3965 Mission Way, said she was concerned regarding the fire doors and asked if there was a way to have the Battalion Chief check them occasionally. Joanne Mattoon, 3810 Monterey Boulevard, asked that the Conditions of Approval be posted in a conspicuous place in the Manager's Office. It was noted this was already a Condition applied by the Planning Commission. She said the trees should be 24-inch box trees and some of the Myoporum should be saved. There being no further comments from the public, on motion of Council Member Faria, seconded by Council Member Santos, and carried unanimously, the Public Hearing was closed. The following Motion was then introduced: MINUTE ORDER NO. 92-24 (1009) MATTER OF PD-75-03 GDP/PDP (9TH MODIFICATION) .PLANNED DEVELOPMENT APPROVAL TO EXPAND AND REMODEL THE EXISTING K-MART STORE INCLUDING RELANDSCAPING THE SHOPPING CENTER SITE 250 FLORESTA BOULEVARD SOUTHWEST CORNER OF FLORESTA BOULEVARD AND WASHINGTON AVENUE On motion by Council Member Polvorosa, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Glaze, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved PD-75-03 GDP/PDP (9th Modification) , with the following, additional Conditions: 1 . K-Mart is to identify a specific person for the City to contact regarding problems. 2. Conditions of Approval must be posted in a conspicuous location in the office of the General Manager of K-Mart. 3. The Fire Department is to ensure appropriate panic hardware is secure and in place and that fire exits meet Fire Code requirements and are open in compliance with the Code.
