Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - March 16, 1992 Page - 4 -
NEW BUSINESS (continued)
B. Resolution Initially Accepting Subdivision Improvement Work for Tract
6307 and Accepting Offers of Dedication of Public Rights-of-Way and
Easements.
Council Member Faria asked if refuse service for the subdivision on
Darius Way was provided by the City of San Leandro or by Oro Loma
Sanitary District.
Bob Taylor, Public Works Services Director, said services are provided
by Oakland Scavenger for Oro Loma Sanitary District because the
subdivision is in Oro Loma's service area. Mr. Taylor said during
construction Oro Loma was approached with the idea of allowing the
service to be provided by the City and did not care to do so. He said
he would go back to them and discuss this matter again.
The following Resolution was then introduced:
RESOLUTION NO. 92-61 (2650)
RESOLUTION INITIALLY ACCEPTING
SUBDIVISION IMPROVEMENT WORK FOR
TRACT 6307 AND
ACCEPTING OFFERS OF DEDICATION OF
PUBLIC RIGHTS-OF-WAY AND EASEMENTS
Introduced by Council Member Faria, who moved its adoption, seconded by Council
Member Polvorosa, and carried by the following called vote:
AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Glaze, Perry, Polvorosa, Santos;
Mayor Karp ( 7 )
NOES: None ( 0 )
ABSENT: None ( 0 )
C. Resolution Deleting Restricted Parking, Two-Hour Parking, 9:00 A.M. to
. 6:00 P.M. , Sundays and Holidays Excepted, Chumalia Street, Title VI,
Chapter 1 of the San Leandro Municipal Code.
Council Member Perry asked if the parking modifications had been
discussed with the residents again after the temporary period.
Bill Silva, City Engineer, said the matter had been discussed with the
residents. There was no interest in doing anything on the other side
of the street, but the residents were happy with the modifications and
wished to have them made permanent.
