Minutes - San Leandro City Council Meeting - May 18, 1992 Page - 23 - PUBLIC HEARINGS (continued) The following Motion was then introduced: MINUTE ORDER NO. 92-42 (1009) MATTER OF PD-92-03 PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT GENERAL AND PRECISE DEVELOPMENT PLAN TO CONSTRUCT A 9,022-SQUARE-FOOT OFFICE BUILDING 801 DAVIS STREET SOUTHWEST CORNER OF DAVIS STREET AND ALVARADO STREET I-P PDC ( INDUSTRIAL PARK PLANNED DEVELOPMENT COMBINING) DISTRICT JAMES R. BURNS, II, ARCHITECT, APPLICANT; MILLER, CORNELIUS, PETHAN, AND BERNSTEIN, OWNERS On motion by Council Member Faria, who moved its approval , seconded by Council Member Kerr, and carried by the following called vote, the City Council approved PD-92-03. AYES: Council Members Corbett, Faria, Kerr, Myers, Perry, Polvorosa; Mayor Karp ( 7 ) NOES: None ( 0 ) ABSENT: None ( 0 ) 9. CITY COUNCIL COMMENTS A. Council Member Corbett noted the Farrelly Pond Fair was held this weekend. She said the unsung heros are those members of the community and homeowners' associations who put community events together and bring neighbors together. She said this was a fun, family event. B. Council Member Kerr said he had attended the League of California Cities Training Session with the City Manager. He said it was a very good and informative session. C. Council Member Kerr said he had received several phone calls from people who are concerned about A. C. Transit's plans to remove buses, especially the 36X line, and asked what action the City was taking. He said there is a Hearing on May 26 and he would probably attend. He said he understands from A. C. Transit that the problem with the 36X line is that the buses are full going out but have no passengers going back in. D. Council Member Kerr asked for a schedule for construction on the Williams Street Overpass. E. Council Member Kerr asked that the meeting be adjourned in honor of Norm Brikovich.
